Dunskey Golf Club Portpatrick

Portpatrick Dunskey Golf Course

Portpatrick Golf Club has two courses; the 18-hole main Dunskey course and the 9-hole Dinvin course.

Portpatrick Golf Club is one of Scotland`s Top 100 Courses and deservedly so!

The main 18 hole course (Dunskey) has stunning coastal views as can be seen from the header!

The club offers a fully equipped Club House with lounge, dining room and bar, ‘Junior’ room, buggie, trolley and caddy hire, shop, tuition, competitions and much more.

The 18-hole Dunskey course requires a handicap certificate and provides the experienced player with quite a challenge; seas breezes, gullies, blind drives, fiendish bunkers…

The 13th Tee ( Sandeel ) probably has one of the best views of any course in the area. It is close to the cliff edge at about the highest point and had views over Portpatrick to Crammag Head on the Mull of Galloway, The Isle of Man, Ireland including the Mountains of Mourne and even the Mull of Kintyre.

The 7th hole on the course – Gorsebank – is regarded as one of the best Par 3′s on the course and, as their websites boasts; “anywhere”. No mean claim!

The 9 hole Dinvin course is a family friendly affair. No pre-booking required. Visitors are very welcome and the course makes for an ideal starter session or introduction to the game.

See their website for more details and to book online.
